Unbeatable Taste
Most plant-based shakes taste like twigs and lawn clippings. Not Ka’Chava. We’ve spent years obsessing over taste and texture to bring you a shake that’s smooth and creamy with just water. It’s flavorful, not overly sweet, and not at all gritty.
Quality & Safety
We consciously source and rigorously test our ingredients to ensure we’re providing you the highest quality products possible. In addition to in-house testing, we use third-party testing.

Can Ka'Chava help me lose weight?
Can Ka'Chava help me lose weight?
Ka'Chava can be an amazing tool to help you manage your weight. With all three macronutrients—25g of protein, 6g of fat, and 20g of carbohydrates—it's a satisfying, ticks-all-the-boxes, calorie-controlled meal or snack any time of day. It'll be most effective when combined with exercise and an overall healthy diet.
Plus, Ka'Chava is really darn convenient. A lack of quick-but-healthy options can be a huge barrier to maintaining healthy eating habits, but keeping a bag of Ka’Chava on hand is an excellent fail-safe. Just blend or shake it with water and you're good to go.
How many servings are in each bag?
How many servings are in each bag?
Our serving size is two packed scoops (62g) per shake. For our full-sized, 930 gram bags (the ones we sell online), that gives you 15 shakes per bag. If you've shopped Ka'Chava in stores, our bags are 434 grams, which is seven servings. You'll find a scoop inside each bag for convenient measuring.
Is Ka'Chava diabetes-friendly?
Is Ka'Chava diabetes-friendly?
Each serving of Ka’Chava contains just 4 grams of sugar, primarily from organic coconut nectar, which we’ve chosen specifically because it’s low glycemic—meaning it’s less likely to impact blood glucose (a.k.a. blood sugar) levels.
Keep in mind that the appropriate diabetes-friendly diet can vary. So first, check Ka’Chava’s nutrition label to see if it meets your individual needs. If you’re unsure, check with your doctor.
Are your shakes FDA-approved?
Are your shakes FDA-approved?
Food and dietary supplement manufacturers like us are responsible for evaluating the safety and labeling of our products before they hit the market to ensure they meet all FDA food manufacturing and labeling requirements.
To accomplish this, we manufacture in a state-of-the-art, pharmaceutical-grade facility, far above and beyond what quality standards require. We also perform physical, chemical, and microbiological tests on each lot produced to ensure the quality and safety of our products before they’re approved for market.
Are your shakes safe to drink during pregnancy?
Are your shakes safe to drink during pregnancy?
To be certain Ka'Chava is safe for you to drink while pregnant, we recommend sending our nutrition label and ingredient list to your doctor.
Pregnant women need on average 300 extra calories per day, plus higher levels of certain vitamins and minerals. If your doc gives you the green light to consume Ka’Chava, but you need to add more calories into your smoothie, you can always load it up with additional nutrient-dense ingredients like avocado, nut butters, banana, or berries. This PBCB smoothie is a delicious, higher calorie option.
INGREDIENTS
Do your shakes contain caffeine?
Do your shakes contain caffeine?
We don't add any caffeine to any flavor of Ka'Chava, but a few of our ingredients have naturally-occuring caffeine. Chocolate has about 15 mg per serving, and Matcha has about 35 mg per serving. Our Chai, Coconut Açaí, and Vanilla flavors are caffeine-free.

Our superfood blends don't contain any palm oil.
Do Ka'Chava shakes have soy?

There's no soy in our superfood shakes.
Do Ka'Chava shakes have stevia?
Do Ka'Chava shakes have stevia?
Nope! We removed all stevia from Ka'Chava products due to customer feedback. Instead, our lightly sweet taste comes from a combination of low-glycemic coconut nectar and lo han guo fruit (also known as monkfruit), which is a natural zero-calorie sweetener that has no impact on blood sugar. Lo han guo fruit does not cause a funky aftertaste either, which is the main complaint about stevia.
Are Ka'Chava shakes free of allergens?
Are Ka'Chava shakes free of allergens?
All but one! Milk, eggs, fish, shellfish, peanuts, tree nuts, wheat, and soybeans are the top eight most common food allergens—and as such, they must be clearly listed on food labels, according to the FDA. Ka’Chava is free of all of these allergens except for coconut, which is recognized as a tree nut.
To be safe, if you have a tree nut allergy, talk to your doctor before adding Ka’Chava or any coconut-containing products to your diet.

There are 240 calories in every two-scoop serving of Ka'Chava.
Our goal is to maximize the calorie-to-satiety ratio by optimizing levels of protein (25g), fiber (6g), and healthy fats (6g)—three key nutrients that help control hunger—so you feel full longer without excess calories.
Unlike some other powders, you don't need to add extra ingredients (and thus, calories) to make Ka’Chava taste good. Our superfood blends are smooth and creamy even with just water—and that's true whether you use a shaker or a blender.

All together, they combine to make a complete protein and give you all nine of the essential amino acids your body needs to thrive.
